Barry Johnson…

Today was ALL about marketing. First we discussed the news from the NAR that told everyone to pretty much hang it up if you are involved in real estate in 2008. The buggywhippers are spewing the same things that they are telling the media not to do!

It is Marketing Time here are Real Estate Radio USA. Over the coming weeks and months we are goingto be talkingmore and more about marketing. Most of our questions come from people that have a good amount of real estate knowledge, but no marketing background to apply to thier business. Do you know the difference between Marketing and Advertising? If the answer is no, you definately need to listen to this show. Also, how much should I spend on marketing a year? Let me just say I am 99.9% sure it should be MUCH more than you are spending now. Listen and find out more.

Coming up tomorrow the crew here is going to be doing an experiment. Play along if you like. We are going to each take $2500 of virtual cash and EACH of us is going to come up with our own marketing plan for 30 days. The objective is to find out who can get the most “bang for thier buck”. The plan is for selling a single family home. We are required to spend the whole $2500 in the 30days. Other than that, we can be as creative as possible. Find out the results tomorrow!
