Barry Johnson…
We made it back today after being out sick on Monday. We are all blaming Barry C around here at the studio for infecting all of us. For all of you that have not heard, while I was laid up in bed this weekend, Barry C has been taking on Realtors from around the country… I think it is becoming Barry C’s hobby of choice!
Today we started off with the news, as usual. The first 2 stories were about foreclosures and how certain municipalities are dealing with the ongoing problems and expected drop in tax revenue from all of the values dropping like lead balloons. Listen to what we have to say about it.
Also, an interesting story out of South Florida. A real estate agent who is beig sued for a post he made on his blog. Did we say the he is being sued for $25 Million? Hey everyone out there, if you are going to say something about someone and state it as fact, make sure your facts are straight.
As I mentioned in the opening paragraph, Barry C has created quite the “BUZZ” with his series of articles about real estate agents and commissions. It all started with the post titled, “Does it Matter Who Wins?” regarding the Ummel case in Carlsbad, California where Marty Ummel and her husband are suing their agent, Mike Little. We spoke about the comments that agents were making about the post Barry C made. Some of the comments were supportive, while some were threatening. Listen in to today’s episode to hear all about it.
