We finally made it, Episode Number 50. The Big 50. I feel so old. It is quite amazing how far we have come in such a short period of time. We want to thank all of the listeners for their support and the Academy…. it was just an honor being nominated…. Wait… What? Nevermind…
So much for the attempt at humor and on with the news. Today we talked about the NAR TV ad campaign and the reviews by the educated Real Estate Elite. For instance, Chris Mayer, director of the Milstein Center for Real Estate at Columbia Business School, called the ad “Insane”. Guess they did need an Ivy League Professor to figure that one out.
In addition we talked about Michael Russer and his thoughts about technology and the real estate agent. This guy makes lots of sense and we are going to try to get him on the show sometime soon. We also let the cat out of the bag today… The top real estate market we have been researching, Bagdad, Iraq. Check out this episode to find out why prices there are going through the roof.
We finished up today’s show with the closing of the series and Barry C’s post titled, “How I Would Justify My Commission?”. We go in-depth here and go over the 15 points that Barry C mentions in his article. As you can see, it gives much more detail that just saying you are paying for postage and gas.
