Real Estate Radio USA Episode 69
Barry Johnson…
Today we spoke with Teresa Boardman, one of the real estate blogospheres’ leading writers, about her blogging experiences. Also, more news for Freddie Mac, the LA Times, and the study about the impact of urban centers on suburban neighborhoods. That and another “short sale expert” on today’s episode.
We started off the day with news that Freddie Mac took a big bite on their portfolio in the amount of $2.45 BILLION for the 4thQ 2007. Seems they are in good company after Fannie Mae’s announcement yesterday. Also in the news, an interesting poll from the LA Times/Bloomberg about what the American public wants to see happen regarding the current foreclosure crisis. By the way, if you are near Geno’s in Philly, Barry Cunningham wants a cheesesteak. (Don’t ask me how that made it into the show, you will have to listen to find out)
The special guest on today’s show was Teresa Boardman from www.stpaulrealestateblog.com. Teresa talked with us about her success in the blogging world and how she achieved it. She touched on a number of points about blogging including, conversion, topic creation, benefits, and drawbacks. If there is anyone that knows about niche blogging, it is definitely Teresa.
On the last segment of the show today, we talked about a new Barry C blog post titled, “Hey Short Sales Expert…Do You Have A Good Lawyer?”. I rarely hear, much less see, a more disgusting display of unprofessionalism and ego. This guy should end up in jail, forget about losing his license and getting sued civilly, that should be the least of his worries.
