On today’s show we talked about the recent blog post from Barry C titled, “80,000 Members And Only 300 Have Anything to Sell?“. Also we interviewed Joel Burslem from Inman and the Future of Real Estate Marketing on this episode of Real Estate Radio USA.

We started today’s show with a recent blog post by Barry C regarding real estate marketing. The basic premise of the conversation centered around the fact that most real estate agents do not understand that they are in business for themselves. Only by realizing that fact allows you to that all of the marketing a promotion of said business falls squarely upon their own shoulders.

Our interview today was with Inman’s Marketing Director and Author/Founder of Future of Real Estate Marketing Blog, Joel Burslem. Joel’s experience in marketing, technology, and public relations put him in the unique position to discuss such topics as the use of social networking sites like Twitter and Facebook to build your business. Also we covered technology to build your real estate brand, how Web 2.0′s transparency is changing the core business models of the real estate professional, and the use of video to market.

We closed the show with a lively discussion with Agent Rockstar about the use and working of Twitter.
