On today’s show we talked primarily about foreclosure bus tours and how they are done. Barry C and I not only talked to a couple of experts who are out there doing it, we talk about a blueprint for you to do one yourself. Also we talked to Pat Kitano, Transparent RE, and Mark Warner, RealESpace.com, about transparency in the mortgage industry on this episode of Real Estate Radio USA.
We started the show, and finished the show, talking about the foreclosure bus tour frenzy happening in some real estate markets. In addition to outlining a plan for you to develop your own tour, Barry C and I talked to a couple of experts that are actually doing it right now. Our first caller was Peggy Berkoff from North County Properties in Palm Beach County Florida. Peggy is using a stretch Hummer limo to show her buyers where the deals are. Our next guest was Ruth Ahlbrand from Remax in Las Vegas. Ruth has five tours per week and has had more than 700 participants since February.
Our featured interview today was with Pat Kitano from Transparent RE and Mark Warner from RealESpace.com. Both of these gentlemen joined us on the program today to discuss transparency in the mortgage industry. They also let us know about Mark’s new product that is just finishing beta testing, a widget called RateWindow. Check it out and let us know what you think.

Great stuff guys! I really appreciate spending two hours hearing from positive and productive people, rather than hearing about all of the losers that exist in this business.
My market has been smoking hot for two years with increases in the range of 50% per year. If this little bubble pops I’ll have everything I need to be at the front end of those changes.
Thanks again.
Hi Barry & Barry,
Thanks again for directing me to Erik Wesoloski. He and his team have been very helpful. I submitted a contract to the lender. They are sending a BPO this week. It’s a condo in Jupiter. I want to include in the additional info I give the BPO a couple of articles reflecting the continued downward tend in sales, especially with condos in South Florida. Any you can recommend?
Thanks.
John
