Real Estate Radio USA Episode 104

On today’s show we discuss the latest in real estate news including the latest out of NAR and their chief economist, Lawrence Yun and president, Richard Gaylord. Also we talked about the concept of “Jingle Mail” again on the program so it was a busy day at Real Estate Radio USA.

Our first story today was about the latest sales figures recently released by the NAR. There was no rosy picture to paint when they had to tell their members that sales has fallen more than 19% and prices almost 8% from last year. The priceless parts of the story were quotes from NAR bigshots Lawrence Yun and Richard Gaylord. It is amazing that that this president and his economic advisor have not been impeached by their own membership.

We talked for the rest of the show about another story that is gaining ground in the real estate market. The concept of “Jingle Mail” is not necessarily new, but it has become a national epidemic in the United States. With more people just walking away form their homes and the banks not keeping up with the number of short sale requests, we asked the question, “Why would you actually be looking for MORE sellers in this market instead of concentrating all of your marketing to find buyers?”
