On today’s show we talked about the blog post at Redfin that caused an uproar in the RE blogosphere. We were even joined by Redfin CEO Glenn Kelman so he could clear the air about the controversy. We were also joined by Dave “The Shef” Sheffield who talked to us about his unique motivation techniques on this episode of Real Estate Radio USA.

We opened the show with today with what became a controversy in the RE blog world. A blog author from one of Redfin’s blogs posted a story that caused a great deal of backlash. Glenn Kelman, Redfin CEO, joined us here on the program to set the record straight and gave the official company response. Glenn also took a few minutes to discuss some other Redfin business with us, including their new expanded services like Redfin Select.

Our featured interview today was with Dave “The Shef” Sheffield. Dave is an author and motivator with his own style. He talked to us today about his “Shef Success Diet“, how to set and realize your goals, and branding yourself in your own unique way. Dave’s presence was infectious to all of on the show and motivated us to come up with the Real Estate Radio USA Dream Board that we are placing in our studio.

We closed the show today discussing Barry C new post titled, “Sometimes Change Need Not Be Subtle“. We talked in depth about the fact that even though the real estate industry still “works”, there exists a more efficient and appealing business model.
