On today’s show we discussed a Seth Godin post regarding word of mouth marketing and what real estate agents are saying about Truila. In addition we talked to Steven Van Yoder, author of “Get Slightly Famous“, and Mary McKnight. All of this and more on today’s episode of Real Estate Radio USA.

We started the show with a blog post by Seth Godin titled, “Why Word of Mouth Doesn’t Happen“. In his usual marketing genius, Seth explains the many reason people will not talk about you and how you can try to overcome them.

Out first interview of the day was with Steven Van Yoder, author of “Get Slightly Famous: Become a Celebrity in Your Field and Attract More Business with Less Effort“. Steve discussed with us some of his techniques on how to identify your niche market and then build your business identity around it.

We closed the show discussing the controversy in the real estate blogosphere about Trulia. We offered our opinions on the subject and then were joined on the program by our internet marketing and SEO expert, Mary McKnight. Mary let us in on the real story and why everyone is so mad at Trulia. In addition to her usual internet marketing expertise, Mary announced that in addition to RSSPieces, she would now be blogging at 1 Park Place as well.
