We started the show today talking the continued controversy happening at Active Rain. Barry C wrote a blog post about the subject on Monday. Today, the subject of the article posted an apology by proxy on Active Rain. We discuss the issue again in detail today.

We discussed a couple of interesting articles including a story regarding the proposed acquisition of Countrywide Home Loans by Bank of America. Also on the news today, a NAR article that discusses the “Listing ABCs”.

Our featured interview today was with “The Telephone Doctor”, Nancy Friedman. Nancy is an internationally recognized expert on customer service and communication skills. Nancy spoke with us about topics such as identifying the six points of communication, defining the eight great hates, the negativity associated with wimpy words, and the single best advice we have ever heard about cold calling.
