Begin by taking action.  If you are telling me that you will &quot;try&quot; to make my party which I&#039;ve invited you to, I&#039;m not counting on seeing you.  If you tell me either &quot;yes&quot; or &quot;no&quot; I can take that to the bank.  

If you don&#039;t want to do something, tell people, &quot;no&quot;!  Are you afraid of what they may think of you?  Get over it.  If you knew how often they thought of you, you&#039;d stop caring about what they thought of you.
