Real Estate Radio USA Episode 133

On today’s show we talked about the latest in real estate news including Ed McMahon’s foreclosure, a new all time foreclosure high, a Barry C blog post, and an article about negotiation. Also on the program we had the pleasure of interviewing virtual real estate investor extraordinaire, Charrissa Cawley. All of this and more on this episode of Real Estate Radio USA.

We started the program with a news flash regarding actor Ed McMahon’s Beverly Hills foreclosure. One reason for not being able to sell the foreclosure, two words, Britney Spears. Also news from the Mortgage Bankers Association of America declaring an all time foreclosure high. According to that organization, the number of active foreclosures nationally has topped one million for the first time ever.

Also today we talked about a blog post from Barry C titled, “Are You Afraid Of Competition? Or Worse, Have You Already Succumbed To It?“. We discuss the concept of market share and how it relates to competition within your market. Also we talked about how to identify who your competition truly is.

Our featured interview of the day was with Charrissa Cawley, widely recognized as one of the foremost virtual real estate investors in the country. We spoke with Charrissa about her background and how she got started, where she finds her deals, how she funds her deals, and how she decides what markets she is going to invest in. We loved having Charrissa on and look to see more from her in the coming weeks.

We closed the show today with an article that explains the seven biggest home price negotiation blunders. We go into each step by step and give our opinions of each.
