Also today we spoke with a couple of true professionals, the first was Annie Jennings of Annie Jennings PR and the second, Vanessa Fox from Nine by Blue. We started the show today with a new blog post by Barry C titled, “Don’t You Just Sometimes Want To Hide The Fact That You’re An NAR Member?“. We discussed in detail Glenn Beck‘s insight into the public relations debacle that the National Association of Realtors has become.

Speaking of public relations, our first guest on the program today was Annie Jennings from Annie Jennings PR. Annie spoke with us today about the importance of public relations in your overall marketing plan, how to identify and set up your platform, and how any real estate agent can start right away.

We closed the show speaking with Vanessa Fox from Nine by Blue. Vanessa is an expert in SEO and Google and actually developed Google’s Webmaster Central. We talked with Vanessa about a number of topics including what the top criteria are for search engine rankings, how to find out your web traffic, the myth of the Google sandbox, words needed for a post to be indexed, and so much more.
