Is Affiliate Marketing Really The Ultimate Online Business?
Well if it isn’t it, I’d like someone to show me a better one. I recently have been doing a ton of research on affiliate marketing and the facts are undeniable and astounding.
As I assume much of our audience is comprised of our former audience of real estate agents and new readers who are interested in making money on the Internet, let me give you a bit of background information.
Affiliate marketing is estimated to be more than a $7 billion per year industry with an almost meteoric like annual growth
This is no longer the business of Tupperware parties and Amway. Although those businesses are still around, many of biggest companies in the world no engage in some form of affiliate marketing including Target, Sears and Amazon.com to name just a few. Even Walmart offers an affiliate program.
How Does Affiliate Marketing Work?
Very simple. When you register to be an affiliate for a company, you are paid as a result of your ability to drive a customer to the companies website. If the customer you were able to drive to their site purchases, or sometimes simply registers, then you are paid a commission.
The company will provide you with a link that is specific to your account so that they and you can track if a transaction occurs as a result of your referral of that customer.

While there are many who are struggling with getting affiliate marketing right, there are literally scores of people who are earning millions simply by referring customers to the websites of various companies.

I constantly here stories about guys earning a ton of cash with affiliate marketing, but are a lot of these people just claiming that they do as a sales pitch? It just sounds a bit far fetched. Yeh you can earn good money and quit your day job, but $10,000 a day!! Come on

While one can indeed make $10K in a day, the average affiliate marketer will never see that kind of revenue. I challenge a lot of the gurus to show how the average joe can make that kind of money so you are right to be skeptical…HOWEVER, with the right plan and the right system with a little bit of luck it can indeed be done.
Here’s an easy way to do it. We are currently doing a Christmas blitz with putting up about 10 sites per day. By Next week we’ll be in position to have about 150 sites up and making money. Not many homeruns but a ton of singles. It adds up real quick.
Just with these simple micro sites we’ll be averaging $50-$100 per day per site. Now multiply that out and you see how it’s possible to compound a ton of smaller sites into a pool of serious money.
But most affiliate marketers don’t have the resources to work with a staff of 4+ people each with years of online experience to develop a campaign like this. The average joe gets sold by these guru types and they never get explained to them how detailed a plan you need and what kind of resources are require to generate that kind of income.
So I agree with you…most will never attain $10K per day, most who teach don’t reach that themselves yet don’t think for an instant that it is far fetched…it’s just not realistic for most.
I , like you, hate that people are mislead by their own greed and unwillingness to do the work and are looking for the easy way…this is a business.
