Whether it derived from the Count on Sesame Street or Count Chocula, vampire Halloween costumes have always been a popular out fits for kids. It’s obvious why adults have felt the allure of being a vampire for Halloween.
It seems that lately everywhere you turn these is another vampire movie or television show. What is it with vampires that fascinates us so? I actually don’t get it. However it seems that an entire sub-culture has evolved. Maybe they have taken it just a bit too far…I mean seriously.
Yet on October 31st we’ll seen tons of kids out dressed up as Dracula, arguably the most famous vampire of them all. I don’t mind kids dressing up as the Count. No, it doesn’t mean they’re going to grow up into fiends. It’s harmless fun.
