Undoubtedly, the Zhu Zhu Pets will be the hottest selling toy of 2009. They are a family of adorable fake hamsters that are led by Mr. Squiggles. (he seems to be the bad boy of the group)

These things are FLYING off of the shelves and the prices are rising faster than the price of Gold! Seriously, the price for the Zhu Zhu Pets has rsien nearly 500% in the last two months alone. This is a serious picture of supply and demand. You can’t find the Zhu Zhu Pets anywhere.

Store after store has the sold out sign. If this is a marketing ploy I would have to call these guys geniuses. How else would you describe a company that introduces a product, gets mad publicity, increases their price 500% and has people freaking out over the scarcity of the item.
