With an 86.00 score, Leticia Bufoni became “the story” at the X Games.
So you’re wondering right now, who the heck is Leticia Bufoni? Well listen up because you have to see this 17-year-old Brazilian skater who dominated the X Games on Sunday during the women’s skateboard park event, pulling trick after trick and effectively using the guard rails.
Bufoni was amazing when she nailed a crooked grind on a picnic table, then came the 180 ollie on the big stairs, followed by a back Smith grind on the rail, then a nose blunt side, and overcrook, giving her a 9 point lead.
She eventually lost to Alexis Sablone who won gold after a near-flawless run on the obstacle-laden course gave her a score of 86.00 but Bufoni was killing it and maybe should have won. Ok…confused? Don’t worry about it…suffice it to say the chick rocked!
