Albert Haynesworth Doesn’t Fail Conditioning Test
Well the headline of this article is sort of the truth. You see Albert Haynesworth didn’t fail his conditioning test because for the third day in a row the big load didn’t even attempt it.
As we are now six days deep into this laughable drama, it seems that making tens of millions of dollars just isn’t enough incentive to get your butt in shape to perform.
The two-time All-Pro defensive tackle did not attempt the Washington Redskins conditioning test Tuesday. He won’t be allowed to practice until he passes it. Which I guess is fine for him. Many vets abhor summer practices.
Haynesworth tried to take the test Monday morning, but he pulled up after three back-and-forth sprints because he felt some irritation in his left knee.
Haynesworth failed the test on the first day of training camp Thursday after taking an extended bathroom break in the middle of it. (he was probably tossing his cookies)
He failed again Friday when he didn’t post a sufficient time, then didn’t take it Saturday or Sunday because of soreness in his left knee.
After Monday’s practice, he stayed for what has become a daily ritual a solo session with defensive coaches to walk through some of the plays.
Wonder if he can complete a walkthrough?
