Estimating the Glenn Beck’s Restoring Honor Rally Attendance will be something talked about in the media for days. Those on the right may possibly inflate the number while those on the left may seek to negatively detract from the estimated attendance.
I really don’t think the number is all that important. Always having been someone who says show me, why don’t you join me and just seeing for yourself. Check out the picture below and simply think about what you are looking at.
You are looking at the pond between the Lincoln Memorial and the Washington Monument. Clearly you can see that the crowd is packed in for the event. There’s no trick photography being used. So there really is no debate as to the sheer volume of people in attendance.
Remember, the pond is over 2,000 feet long or the length of 7 football fields laid end to end. Almost half of a mile long. So do your own math. I’m sure you’ve been to a football game. or a concert, or to a NASCAR race. You don’t have to be a mathematician to agree that what you are looking at is a helluva lot of people.
Is it 200,000, 300,000, 750,000 maybe 1 Million? One thing’s for sure, it a pretty big number. So what does it all mean? I’m not sure. I have my feelings on what it all means and I think it will play out in November, but what do you think it means?

As you prepare to answer, understand that whatever you believe, there is something happening in this Country. The Earth is shaking beneath our feet and the swelling up of anticipation is palpable. For some it may feel quite scary and for others it is the sign of something to come.
