Make Money Online!

Can you really make money online? Seriously, we all have received the emails that tell us of the untold riches to be had by being an Internet Marketer.

But who do you believe? What experience do you need? What kind of skills do you need to have to be successful?

Well, let me answer the first question right off the bat. Yes, it is very possible to earn a very comfortable full time living online.

But it’s definitely not a “just add water” industry and you need to know exactly what you’re doing or you will be drowned by the hype and scammers out there.

So over the next few weeks, we’re going to delve into various aspects of Internet marketing and tell you how you can indeed make money online and just how you can be successful doing it. Can you make millions? Sure you can!

But the reality of the industry is that few ever do. However, don’t be discouraged. Now that you realize that making millions online is about as likely as the Miami Heat asking you to play along Lebron, then you’ll be ok.

Hey, while you may not make Lebron type money, would you be satisfied with being able to lease a skybox or perhaps even to buy season tickets? If so, then read on. You’ll most surely get something out of this series.

If on the other hand you want a lottery ticket, head on over to 7-11. Internet marketing, despite all the hype is a business. A potentially lucrative and very freeing one, but nonetheless, it’s a business. So let’s begin our trek to find out what it takes to make money online.

Quick note: If you’ve been dabbling in Internet marketing, you may be familiar with some of what we are going to cover. We’re starting with the basics as we want to make sure that everyone, regardless of their experience, can find value and knowledge in this series.

You know we get tons of emails from people across the Country who are not selling any houses, not making any commissions and are just fed up with the whole real estate business who are looking for a little advice. We also get emails and calls from investors who realize that flipping houses isn’t really for the inexperienced right now.

We also get a bunch of email from people who have either been laid off or who are currently employed, yet looking for a way not to just have ends meet, but prosper. Yes, making a lot of money in today’s economy is very much a viable reality. Despite what our Government is now telling us.

The overwhelming majority of Americans ARE paying their bills, ARE satisfying their obligations and DON”T need or want a handout but rather they want the opportunity to pursue profit without the chains of an over-spending government.

About 6 months ago, we here at Real Estate Radio started diversifying. We knew where the market was headed and talked about it on our radio show daily. So we started doing videos and morphed our site into a full news site where we now regularly get upwards of 10,000 unique visitors per day!

As we developed our Internet business We had a few criteria in place that any opportunity had to meet before we would even take a look at it.

1. It had to take no more than 10 hours per week. We just got done automating our real estate business and no way were we looking to go back to 40+ hour work weeks.

2. It had to require an investment under $500.00. In this economy we weren’t just looking to throw away money unnecessarily. That’s not to say we weren’t prepared to invest more in order to scale a new business, but investment had to be warranted.

3. And this is the most important, it had to show us conclusively that it had the potential to generate a MINIMUM of $10,000.00 PER MONTH within 90 days. If we found something that met these criteria we knew we would have another winner in addition to our real estate business.

So we spent weeks looking at everything. You wouldn’t believe the amount of CRAP that is out there being peddled to the masses…or maybe you would.

What we found is that Internet Marketing held the greatest potential for profit and met all of our criteria. So we jumped head first into the make money online market and I am happy to say it has been an amazing ride.

We are making more money than we ever thought possible. Best of all, making money online has opened our eyes to a whole new world.

A world of no hassle, a world wide market, and the ability to literally make money 24 hours per day…from anywhere in the world. No, we’re not selling you anything. We really don’t care if you come along or not. But if you are looking for a viable and profitable way to either supplement your income or create a new opportunity for yourself then you are going to want to see what we are going to show you.

We’re going to show you what to do and what not to do. What kind of things make money and what kind of things are duds and losers. We’re going to introduce you to some real characters. I mean the Internet Marketing world is a whole lot different than the real estate world or that which you may be used to in corporate America. It is quite the humbling experience to be taught by a 15 year old kid making $30,000.00 per month.

And yes, every bit of what we will show you is real. No bullshit. Yes, I said that just as you read it because the Internet Marketing world is real. It’s not sanitized, and you will be called out if you are full of shit.

There is one big problem with the guru led world of the “make money online” industry. That problem being is that too many people start out thinking that Internet marketing is a sure fire way to get rich quick. What makes it worse is that there are so many purveyors of crap who make their living re-inforcing this false notion.

How many courses and products have “secrets” and “loopholes” and ways to “crack the code”?

Here’s a quick tip. If someone mentions a secret way that they have found, or hype some way that they learned to crack the code. Put your credit card back in your wallet and run. Actually run fast.

Col. Sanders never divulged the secrets to the KFC fried chicken recipe and nobody knows the recipe for Coca-Cola either. You see if one truly knew the “secrets” to Internet marketing they most assuredly would not be selling them to you for $197.00.

Additionally, they wouldn’t need to sell you a course to tell you either. They wouldn’t be selling products promising riches. They would be keeping their secrets a secret and building wealth quietly and happily on their own.

So what’s the newbie to do? Well, I just want to tell you that we’re all learning along the way. The difference between you and I is that I’m further down the road than you are. But the difference between some of the people I learn from is that they are more advanced than I am.

In order for me to continue my advancement, I have to seek out bonafide counsel that helps me continue my endeavors. There are no secrets. There is just knowledge that you have as yet, not obtained.

Can you make money online? Surely, I just wouldn’t recommend beginning your online business by hawking ways to make money online. That’s sort of like teaching people to swim without every getting in the water yourself. It’s why it’s kind of hard to coach if you haven’t played.

Remember when you learned how to drive? Some of us learned in high school, some of us went to driving school and some of us were taught by friends or family. The key step in getting our licenses wasn’t that someone taught us to drive. It was the fact that more than anything else, learning how to drive was really important to us.

So I ask you. Do you want to learn how to drive all over again? Are you compelled to get on the open road and passionate about the freedom that having your “Internet” license will provide you?

Then you need to really take the effort to learn. Stop seeking out the goose that lays golden eggs. Stop looking for push button riches and definitely stop trying to live the 4 Hour Workweek. That is until you have the building blocks in place that will allow you the time and resources to actually enjoy a 4 Hour Workweek.

If you want to make money online then you have to realize that you are beginning a business and it will involve a lot of work. If you are not prepared to work then stop reading and hit the delete button now.

Nothing ventured, nothing gained. No rest for the wicked… whatever…insert your favorite motivational cliché here and apply it. If you want to make it online, then you’re going to have to be prepared to go for it.

Remember, most of the information that can get you started in your quest to make money online is readily available. You just have to metohodically follow directions. You don’t need to buy a $2,000 course to learn how to make money online.

Eventually you may want to pay a personal coach that kind of money but that’s to help you advance from a neophyte to a master. You’re probably not there yet. Actually if you’re reading this I can pretty much assure you that you’re not at a master level yet. But give it time and put in the effort and you’ll get there. I am sure of it. Just stop looking for “secrets”, “short cuts”, “silver bullets’ and “push button profits”.

There’s only one way to make money online and it’s a very, very simple premise. Sell products to people who have an interest in buying something. If there ever truly was a secret to making money online, I am about to tell you what it is.

The only problem is that most of us in the business already know this principle so it’s hardly a secret anymore. But for some reason, people spend thousands of dollars and years of time seeking the Internet’s version of the Holy Grail when it it is real simple and glaringly obvious. It’s just that so many guru types try to obscure the truth and to hide the reality of making money online. So here it is:

“Find a market which is profitable by solely determining, with the greatest degree of certainty, that there are buyers for the product that you can profitably deliver to them.”

That’s it. And it didn’t cost you $2,000.00 to find out. Now let me explain. We have been involved in real estate for nearly 15 years. When real estate was hot, we made sure that we had the best deals available for those who wanted to buy properties.

Pretty simple premise isn’t it? I mean if you were in the market for selling widgets, you would need to determine that there is a market for widgets wouldn’t you? Then you would have to make sure that you could profitably deliver said widgets.

That’s where 99% of would be Internet marketers go wrong. They get involved in a business when they have no idea what they are going to sell and they have no idea who they are going to sell it to and even if they could sell it, would they make money doing so.

Anybody can start a website, anyone can open a Facebook, Twitter or YouTube account…but what good are they if you are not reaching anyone who remotely cares what you have to offer. Twitter is full of people who just seem to be yelling at each other to buy their crap? How do you think that works out for them?

So here’s another free nugget. If you were going to be selling hearing aids, just who do you think you’re target market would be? Easy answer right? You’d say deaf people right? Wrong! Deaf people already know they’re deaf and have already been through the maze of doctors and treatments.

We’d want to go after those people who are just straining to hear. We want the customers who have not as of yet gone deaf, but can’t quite hear as clearly as they used to. Think I’m wrong? Well have you ever watched a commercial on television for a hearing aid? Were they using sign language or were they talking on screen?

You see, it’s all about knowing your target demo and knowing how to reach them. That’s one of the reasons that the real estate market is so tough for so many agents. Sticking a sign in the ground doesn’t put you in front of your target demo. Most agents have no idea who is going to buy a house. They simply stick a sign in the ground, have a few open houses and hope that someone shows up.

Does that sound like a business plan to you? Well we taught agents how to reach buyers because we have actually been doing it ourselves. But you would be amazed at how many people refuse to do the work necessary to succeed in real estate. Well it’s not as bad in Internet marketing but there are tons of people who try to make ago at it online without really knowing what they are doing.

You see it goes back to my point about the “secret principal”. You need to know who needs what you are offering and then and only then can you even think about being successful.

So don’t for fall a bunch of craps from a guru. Don’t learn how to make money online from someone who only makes money online by ripping people off showing them how to make money online. (I promise I wasn’t keyword stuffing)

If someone wants to help you, you should expect to pay something but it’s a give and take. You should be obtaining considerable value for your hard earned dollars and they should be able to provide you with the training that will allow you to see measurable results.

Too many people are out there winging it and selling crap and as such their refund rates are through the roof. Credibility, integrity and value is what you should be looking for in a mentorship. All of that being said, yes, you can make a considerable living online.

So it’s up to you. Are you willing to put in the work to change your life or do you just want to keep chasing down “secrets”, “loopholes” and dreams?
