I Can’t Help It, They Make It Too Easy

You know, I wake up, take a shower, walk the dogs, get my blueberry muffin and read my morning email. It’s my daily routine and this morning being the first day back after the Holidays and I am absolutely ready to hit the ground running with enthusiasm…and then I get this yo-yo’s email in my inbox.
Unlike a lot of real estate agents who filter everything out, I actually like getting unsolicited email. It allows me to see just what is going on in the market. I have a special email address I use to sign up for everything.
You won’t believe the stuff I get from some agents…and investors. But the agent stuff usually takes the cake. Why?
Well the investor mail is ususally trying to sell me something, but the real gold is the agent email I get because more often than not, they have absolutely no idea what they are talking about and have absolutely no idea how to market.
Case in point…this guy in the video below. I have watched it over and over and I keep wondering what the hell he is talking about. This guy is obviously making this stuff up on the fly. It is senseless and maybe in Iowa where he is the top dog it may make sense but in the real world, this is the kind of stuff that gives real estate agents a bad name…and he posted this video for the world to see! Amazing.
So for speaking clearly out of his butt, this guy gets the 1st “Head Up His Butt” Award for 2008. Don’t worry, I am sure there will be many more to come this year. He won’t be alone by any means.






What an idiot. He is speaking totally out of his gluteus max! How funny to hear him talk about the banks cancelling checks, and having the liens on the house, “Prefer the home to go into foreclosure” ???? Wow, I wonder if his CLIENTS are aware that he feels this way about short sales, and if they realize that he has no interest in their future, just getting a clear title!! What a jerk.
His video is a “cop out ” for “I am a lazy schmuck and don’t feel like negotiating or making a few extra calls to get paid”! Every one in his sphere thinks like him and they wil miss the opportunity of low lying fruit! Oh well…dummies out and visionaries in! Let’s go 2008!
What he said actually makes sense if you listen closely. And if he is selling 1 home every 2.5 days he doesn’t need to deal with the crap short sales offer. Just because agents choose not to work with short sales does not necessarily make them a jerk.
