I just got my doors blown off! Bettina the Broker from our show, emailed me an article today that she wanted me to take a look at. Little did she know, or maybe she did, just what kind of response it would elicit from me.
I read the article and then found the video below and felt absolutely compelled to share this with you. I keep reading these types of articles and viewing these types of videos and I am astounded that the real estate industry has not embraced technology.
It seems that agents and investors have to be dragged kicking and screaming into the digital age. Most real estate agents have websites that are more like tombstones, and most investors don’t even have that!
Barry and I speak about virtual investing and being able to utilize the Internet to seize the opportunities available in today’s real estate market. By embracing technology we know we can reach many prospective buyers here and abroad.
We are constantly learning and applying SEO techniques, PHP coding and many other html wizardry to enhance our presence on the web.
What are you doing DAILY..yes I said DAILY to further your real estate business technologically? I bet many of you have high school children who are more in tuned technologically than you are.
Please watch this video and read the article referenced below the video. After you do so, promise yourself you won’t make any more excuses and that you’ll get yourself up to speed in 2008. Either that or fold your tent. You simply do not get it and it seems that you are ignoring the obvious signs around you.
