Real Estate Radio USA Episode 41

Barry Johnson…
Today’s top story deals with the current blight in our cities brought on by the recent foreclosure crisis. I do not want to pick on anyone here, but I just want to say that you cannot blame all of the blight in cities like Cleveland on the foreclosure problem. Those of you that have been to Cleveland can back me up on this point, but I digress. Watch out for what your cities are doing, the agents and investors may be next. We also talked about the Pablum Puking Lawrence Yun who spoke before his “congregation” in Baltimore and told them that “Now is a GREAT time to buy”… Thanks for the update Larry…
We spoke with Buddy Corbin with the North Metro Real Estate Investors Association in Acworth, Georgia, which is just north of Atlanta. Buddy talked to us in detail about the focus of his club, which is education. Buddy seems to us like one of those guys that actually gets it. He started as an agent, became a broker, then got into investing by starting the club. Buddy, like us, is a huge proponent of education and having all the tools necessary in your investing “toolbox” to be able to work almost any deal. Hopefully we will hear more from Buddy very soon.
Barry C’s new blog post entitled “And I Thought Michael Ovitz Was Bad…” talked about the golden parachute Angelo Mozilo will be receiving for losing his company $4,000,000,000.00 (yes $4 Billion) by being the poster boy of the sub-prime lending debacle.
Lastly, Barry C did his obligatory rant about another post he made “I Must Be Missing Something, Or Was This Staged?”. Don’t forget to listen to this one as you can actually hear Barry C’s blood pressure spike on the air.
