Today on the show we featured an interview with the “Godfather of South Florida Real Estate Investing”, Mr. Bill Leon. We also kept up with the news in the world of real estate, including Fannie Mae’s loss announcement and the President’s promised veto of the recent proposed foreclosure legislation.
In real estate news today, President Bush promised to veto the proposed Democratic legislation regard foreclosures. One of the hotly contested provisions was the bankruptcy provisions that we have debated a few separate time on the program. Also, Fannie Mae announced that they lost $3.6 BILLION in 4thQ of 2007. That has got to hurt.
Today’s featured interview was with Mr. Bill Leon from BREIA. We will be joining Bill next week on location at his annual Investor Expo. We look forward to getting out among the crowd next Wednesday and speaking to various investors about the state of the market.
