“A Lot Of You Are Building The Brand Of People Ahead Of You”

It’s astounding..absolutely astounding, just how little of those in the real estate world grasp the power of building their brand. The guys from Real Estate Bloggers featured a post today that absolutely blew my doors off. It was so Godinesque.

The post featured Internet entrepreneur and wine afficionado Gary Vaynerchuck. If you do not know who he is, trust me after watching his videos, you will never forget him.
This guy has gone from a mere small time wine store purveyor to a full fledged Internet icon who is rapidly becoming a media mogul. He is being courted by television networks for his own television show, is being compared to Rupert Murdoch, has appeared on the Conan O’Brien Show, had fun on Ellen, and taken a small family business and turned it into a $45 Million dollar a year operation…in just FIVE YEARS!!
His daily videoblog draws 60,000 viewers per day. Enough said..this guy knows what building a brand is all about. In the video shown on the Real Estate Bloggers post, Vaynerchuck is appearing at a conference wherein he is talking about the ABSOLUTE need for understanding and building brand identity and how doing so in a Web 2.0 world can bring you great benefits.
In the video segment, he makes the following statement.
“A Lot Of You Are Building The Brand Of People Ahead Of You”
