Real Estate Radio USA Episode 145
June 24, 2008
On today’s show we talked about the latest numbers from the S&P/Case-Shiller Home Price Index, a story about rich investors leaving real estate, and marketing to the gay community. Also we talked with real estate investor and agent Debbie Smith from ProsperRE.com. All of this and more on this episode of Real Estate Radio USA.
We started the show today with some real estate news. The first story was about the latest numbers from the S&P/Case-Shiller Home Price Index, which, as you can probably tell, were not good. The second story reported what we thought all along, rich people are smart. It discusses a study that shows wealthy investors getting out of their real estate holdings before the market turned. Finally we talked about a story from Inman News regarding a marketing campaign from a real estate broker in California. It seems that now that alternative lifestyle individuals can marry, some brokers are trying to cash in.
Our interview today was with real estate investor and agent, Debbie Smith from ProsperRE.com. Debbie spoke with us about a number of real estate investing topics including working with Gen Y buyers, places to find real estate deals, finding motivated sellers and negotiating with them, and tips on buying right now.
