Real Estate Radio USA Episode 146

On today’s show we talked about how some agents are dealing with the stress of this down real estate market and also two hot interviews out of Seattle. The first was with Glenn Kelman, CEO of Redfin and the second was David Gibbons from Zillow.com. All of this and more on this episode of Real Estate Radio USA.

We opened the show with a story out of South Florida concerning how some real estate agents are dealing with the stress involved in the current market. The broker at Illustrated Properties of Palm Beach Gardens brought in meditation specialist Mordy Levine to teach agents how to manage stress. Mordy will be on the show next week.

Our first interview of the day was with Redfin CEO, Glenn Kelman. We always enjoy having Glenn on the program and spoke with him today about his expansion into Chicago today, his recent media celebrity, the prospective expansion of the Redfin business model, and what his average day looks like.

Our second interview of the day was with David Gibbon, Community Relations Manager at Zillow.com. David joined us on the program to discuss his position and responsibilities at Zillow, Zillow’s sponsorship of the Bloodhound Unchained event, managing the Zillow corporate reputation, Zillow’s Quarterly Home Value Reports, and what we can expect to see from Zillow in the coming months.
