Real Estate Radio USA Episode 170

On today’s show we talked about the latest in real estate news including  the skyrocketing heating oil prices and what do you do when you run out of content to write about on your real estate blog. Also today interviews with REO expert Paula Pompa, and speaker, mentor and negotiation expert, Steve Harney. All of this and more on this episode of Real Estate Radio USA.

We opened the show today with a news article out of the New York Times regarding the drastic increase in heating oil prices that will be effecting the Northeast in the coming months. We discussed how this affects the real estate industry in those areas.

Our first guest on the program today was Paula Pompa who is a REO expert. Paul started working in the REO department of banks and then became an agent handling REO sales almost exclusively. We spoke with her about how agents can break into REO sales, how REO’s are different than traditional listings, and how she has set up her business to handle the huge volume of properties.

Our next guest was international speaker,  real estate mentor, and expert negotiator Steve Harney. Steve joined us today to talk about combating the negative mindset that is so prevalent in the real estate sales industry today. We also spoke about how to get buyers back into the market, some basic negotiation skills, and how agents can keep on top of a quickly changing market.

We closed the show today talking about a topic that all real estate bloggers face at one time or another, running out of topics for articles. We talked today about some of the things you can write about as well as how that might affect your ranking in the search engines.
