Internet Marketing Tip # 1 – You Must Be Natural
It doesn’t matter how you market online, you have to have a natural appearance. Whether you are a real estate agent, doctor, lawyer, plumber or an affiliate marketer, if you appear “unnatural” you are going to have a hard time getting high Google rankings.
So do you know what being natural really means? Do you know how to make your website or blog appear natural?
Whatever market that you are in, go ahead and Google the keyword that you want to rank for. When the results return, go ahead and check out who are ranked in the top 10 results and compare there ranking factors to your site.
How long have they had a registered domain? how many pages of content do they have? How many backlinks do they have? What does their title tag look like? Does their domain have the keyword in it?
Once you have this information it’s time to roll up your sleeves and see if you can over take them. That’s where the natural part comes in.
Draw a chart on a piece of paper and compare the relative data just mentioned and see how you size up. Now to overtake your competitors, find the weak link. Find what it is that makes them rank higher than you.
